BMW i8 – #Carology

In our latest #Carology, we feature a combination of supercar looks with future engineering. The BMW i series strays away from the traditional look of bimmers from the past as the i8 and i3 resemble previous models only in certain features. This Carology focuses solely on the i8, which has become very popular since early prototypes surfaced from designer Richard Kim, in 2011, at the 82nd Geneva International Motor Show. Combining hybrid technology, with the look of a modern supercar, the BMW i8 can be yours for $140,000. The i8 contains a modest 1.5L 3 cylinder engine, with a 7.1 kWh lithium-ion battery pack transforming it into an eco-friendly machine. However, if you're looking for speed, the i8 is not the car for you as it reaches a delimited top speed of just over 160 mph, but accelerates from 0-60 in 4.4 seconds. Regardless of speed and power, the i8 is still an exceptionally great looking ride and has the ability to run on limited gasoline and even electric-only mode for up to 23 miles. Would you include one in your fleet?
